About the prize

The Australian Christian Art Prize welcomes entries for the inaugural prize, to be held in Brisbane in 2025. The Prize is open to all works of art that address Christian themes. These include any portrayals of scenes from the life of Christ, the Bible or the lives of the saints; Christian spirituality; Christian values and life; and God’s creation and promises to humanity. We encourage you to bring your talent, creativity and passion to this theme. Entries are welcomed from artists from Australia and overseas.

Prizes

Two prizes will be awarded, an Open section prize and a School Students prize.Open prize: $10,000School Student prize: $5,000.The winner of the Open Category will receive a $10,000 non-acquisitive prize. The winner of the Student category will receive a $5,000 non-acquisitive prize. This is the largest prize for secondary school artists in Australia. The organisers may also choose to award a number of Highly Commended citations to entries of high artistic quality.
